Wedding

I finally got around to updating a gallery with our wedding pictures

These were the images missing from my last post: Wedding

As I mentioned in the previous post we got our wedding photo's from the photographers.I just have to say again how absolutely amazing they were. The photobook we received is out of this world and I must say I still can't get enough of showing it to people.    I have posted most of them here and here if you want to have a look. Again, if anyone is looking for photographers in the Durban/Amanzimtoti area I will highly recommend Lenssense Photography. If you want to turn your photo's into an amazing book like mine give them a shout too. I can't believe...

And so we say goodbye to another year. A year full of ups and downs. Some ups were very high and some downs were very low. 2009 seems to be in full swing already with everything returning to normal by tomorrow. How quickly the last 2 or 3 weeks have gone past. Actually the past few months have gone by so quickly. In the past few months so much has happened. We got our wedding photo's back from our amazing photographers. My cousin Tara had a beautiful baby girl. Emma Teagan, and I was fortunate to share in the birth. We...

Well, again, it's been forever since I've been here to update. It's been a hectic few weeks. First of all I would like to say thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes. I had such an awesome birthday. Babe, thanx for making it even more awesome. After all the fun and happiness of the wedding we've had some really bad luck. My dad was held up again at the tollgate. So irritating and scary and inconvenient. Luckily he SAPS was there in a flash to sort things out and help as much as they could (Insert sarcastic look here). We also...

One of the things I forgot to mention were our wedding favours. I didn't want anything that could only last a day or that could be eaten so I was struggling to find something that I like and thought was original. Thanx to Heather I finally got a good idea of what I wanted online. I decided on the fridge magnet calenders. I must say I am rather proud of them although they didn't come out exactly like I had hoped but they were good nonetheless. I thought it was an awesome idea. Not only did I not have to run between...

One of the things that happened to me during the planning of our wedding was the huge eye opener I got regarding relationships. Family relationship but mostly friends. It is rather amazing how a huge event in your life can really show you who your friends are and who you ca depend on. There were a few people that I considered to be my friends and so many of them really stood out. They spoilt me, went out of their way for me, gave up their time for me. Without asking for anything in return. Then there were the people that...

After a long few weeks and quite a stressful few days, Willie and I finally became Mr and Mrs on the 23rd of August 2008. Taryn, Jackie and I spent Friday night at the lodge along with Willie's family, my brother and his family and my cousin and his family. Willie was visiting with us until about 9pm and when he left and all the visiting was over us girls started working. We did the flowers and the baskets and after quite some time battling laughing and stressing we finally got to bed some time after 3am. Needless to say when the...

Well I did say I like surprises!! Jackie and I made arrangements to do the seating plan on Saturday 9th. I was going to be there by 3pm and we had lots of plans. I packed the huge cardboard and all the table names and peoples names. My huge box of scrapbooking stuff and off I went. So I get there and as we walk into her house - me with arms full of stuff - there is a house full of people. I got such a fright I walked straight out. I was shaking. The rascal had arranged a hen's party...

Well it is now officially less than a month to go. Most of the things have been arranged and sorted out although I am petrified that I have forgotten something. My diary is like one huge to do list and slowly but surely I am getting through it. Alot has to be left for the last few days (week) so I think that is going to be the most stressful time of all but in a strange way I am looking forward to it. The animals are doing so well. Cody is getting bigger by the day but he still looks like...

Well we finally have a date set and we're all roaring to go. We sure do know how to make things hard for ourselves as we've only given ourselves 7 weeks. One week is gone already but I think we're doing really well. Needless to say it is mostly thanx to bridesmaids and family as without them I would probably still be sitting googling everything. I have my dress, venue is pretty much sorted out, invitations are ready to go and things are looking good so far. I will try to update as much as I can without giving too much...

Well it has been ages. We've finally settled down and got a bit more back to our normal routine. We went up to JHB and in between everything both Willie and I got sick. We've got a new member of the family. His name is Cody and he is cutest thing I have ever seen. OK maybe not ever but pretty darn close. He is a chow and in a previous post i mentioned how long we (read W) have been looking for one. Cody is a little black ball of fluff and he is gorgeous. Also have other news. Wedding news...
